Roasted Radishes and Broccoli Almondine

Ingredients:

2 bunches radishes
olive oil
2 heads broccoli
4 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup slivered or sliced almonds
4 tablespoons lemon juice
salt to taste

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 450. Remove leaves from radishes leaving 1/2" of stem. Wash leave and stems, roughly chop and set aside. Cut radishes in half (large radishes cut into quarters). Toss with olive oil and arrange on a baking sheet cut side down. Roast for 25 minutes until browned. -Cut broccoli and stems into bite sized florets. Steam or boil for 8-10 minutes until tender. -Heat butter in a pot large enough to hold all ingredients. Add almonds and cook over medium until browned. Add all remaining ingredients (radishes and greens, broccoli, lemon juice and salt) and toss together. Adjust seasonings and serve.
