Strawberry Nut Muffins

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 egg
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 cup chopped fresh strawberries
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup milk


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour 2 muffin pans or use paper liners.

In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. Make a well in the center and pour in egg, oil and milk. Mix well and then fold in strawberries and nuts.

Bake in preheated oven for 15 to 18 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
